If the World was a Zoo...

...Then we'd all be walking around with strollers. I went to the zoo with my mom about a week ago for some parental bonding time. We got to see the baby elephant, walk around inside the potent small animal house, gawk at the rhinoceroses, and battle children for the good viewing spots.

And who could not love this face? I mean, those hairy lips just say "Kiss Me."

Ooooh! What is it! What is it! It's something I'm working on...

The Doctor is In

Just a little doodle from my sketchbook that I colored in Photoshop.

I'm not a hugely massive Dr. Who fan,
but I find the show and the actor David Smith
to be a very interesting subject to draw. :)

I made a little, quaint, Utah themed comic for your evening. :)
In other news, I think Heather's dark humor has started to rub off on me.

Piling on the blankets
Until I feel like the princess and pea
But the mattresses are on top of me."

Randomness in a Watercolour

Sometimes I like to spell watercolor with a "u" so that it reads "watercolour." It makes me feel closer to my European roots or something. At least, that's what I tell myself every time I have to fix it when my machine's autocorrect kicks on and changes it back. :)

Painting: Ignore

Have you ever ignored something that's been bothering you for a while? You keep trying to go on about your life, even making yourself very busy, just to keep your mind from that nagging at the back of your mind? Yeah, me too. In fact, I do that with several things... some more or less important that others. Here's my interpretive painting.

Ha ha ha! Get it? Interpretive painting. Interpretive dance. Get it? What? You don't?...
Never mind. Carry on.
